New Music: TÜ – Underwater

Based in Trondheim in Norway, Erle Romundstad Mylius and Oddbjørn Sponås are the snappily named TÜ. Underwater is their debut single and promises great things for their upcoming EP which is due out in 2019. Have a listen below – we promise you won’t be disappointed.

The ecstatic and dreamlike nature of the vocals give the song a real lightness, as well as an air of slight danger, drawing you in like the song of the siren, with all the beauty and danger that entails.  There’s a wonderfully tricky quality to the arrangement, as it studiously yet gracefully swoops, glides and glitches its way under your skin.

Underwater is out now via Koke Plate and can also be streamed on Spotify.
