New Music: Valley Latini – Ask Me Why

An eclectic upbringing, from Colombia to Tennessee then New York may have brought about the wide-ranging sound of Valley Latini. Citing Warpaint, The Kills, Lykke Li and Lana Del Rey as influences adds to that exciting mix, as you can hear on single Ask Me Why.

A laconic vocal delivery sets the scene to a song that is at once, edgy and atmospheric, the subtle chord changes and soft synth tones add to that after-club, uncertain air of lovers finding their way. As dawn breaks, so does the spell the track weaves, creating stark choices in daylight.
