New Music: Stevie Weinstein-Foner – Good Medicine

The coming months sees a hint of normality approaching for many of us here in the UK. A wonderful soundtrack to summer days hopefully spent with friends will be Good Medicine – the new track from Stevie Weinstein-Foner, a taster for his upcoming album Wondering.

On the showing of Good Medicine, Foner’s Wondering album, which includes contributions from Samantha Parton (Be Good Tanyas), Adam Brisbin (Buck Meek, Sam Evian), David Ivar (Herman Dune), and Joanna Sternberg, is going to be something special indeed.

It has a sound that’s sure to bring a little sunshine to the most jaded soul. The soulful sax, feel-good backing vocals, and arrangement evoke comparisons to Van Morrison and Bob Dylan at their creative height. It’s the perfect backdrop for Stevie Weinstein-Foner’s performance, easy-going, engaging positivity. Friendly, intimate, and coming across like an old friend well met, there’s a real sense of fun and familiarity to Weinstein-Foner’s voice that is sure to win you over.

Wondering is out June 18, 2021, via Wild Kindness, and you can pre-order it now in digital, CD, and 500-unit limited-edition vinyl edition via Bandcamp. You can discover more streaming and ordering options on Weinstein-Foner’s Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook channels.
