New Music: Ayelle – Nights2Long

Published On: June 28th, 2021|

With the release of Ayelle’s debut album VIII fast approaching, the Swedish sing-songwriter has teamed up with Orkid (Mimi and Albin Tengblad) on the bouncy RNB tune Nights2Long.

On Nights2Long, the Swedish-Iranian singer brings home how good upbeat RNB love songs can be, full of passion and sensual, while still keeping the beats and bass tight and punchy. Ayelle puts the protagonist in the position of power, making decisions about their desires on their terms, aware that their circumstances may make them vulnerable. Ayelle’s quick-step changes in vocals throughout the song bring out that sensation with ease, giving the listener an education in the art of seduction and desire in the age of the pandemic.

Speaking about Nights2Long Ayelle says, “This song is for anyone who’s been lonely and sexually frustrated during this last year and maybe texted an ex as a consequence of that Ha Ha! It’s about taking that frustration and turning it into something fun by dreaming up scenarios and willing them into existence. The artwork is inspired by the tarot card The Magician which is the card of manifestation.”

Nights2Long by Ayelle is out now and can be streamed or downloaded on all major platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify.
