New Music: DJ_Dave – Array

New York based experimental electronic-pop artist, DJ, and producer DJ_Dave is at the forefront of the modern Bloghaus movement, which is currently centred on The Big Apple. Array is not only a great track, but it shows how the genre can be reinvented and refreshed with an open mindset.

DJ_Dave codes their music, but that nuts-and-bolts approach isn’t obvious in the almost organic, ethereal warmth of Array. Hitting your senses musically, emotionally, and conceptually, it looks to Italo, darkwave and electro to create a vibrant, highly enjoyable alt.pop sound that’ll appeal to devotees of yunè pinku and Grimes.
