New Music: Morning Arcade – Aerochrome

Aerchrome by UK outfit Morning Arcade is dreampop at its most cosmic. With ethereal yet poignant vocals placed softly over a vintage sounding drum machine beat, yearning synth arpeggios and sparkling guitars, it feels like a hug paid forward in musical form.

Reveals the band about the track, which will appeal to followers of The War on Drugs, Real Estate, and Wild Nothing “Aerochrome speaks of the events following the end of a young summer fling. The fallout from two bodies lays as a dust on the ground only to be collected by someone older passing by and the song is from their point of view.”

“They reminisce about their own past relationships before taking the materials through some chemical process in a lab to be returned back to nature.”

Aerochrome is out now via Cardiff’s Phwoar & Peace to download on Bandcamp and is also streaming on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music. To learn more about Morning Arcade and the new single, which follows on from their debut Thawing of a Mindset EP, check out their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds.
