New Music: Deux Visages – Tethered

Deux Visages is a Miami-based outfit that brings a bruising yet endearing take on indie to bear on new single Tethered. The dreamy vocals and ethereal harmonies of Daphney Hanono centre the song as the band explores not just indie, but also post-hardcore and math-rock rhythms.

It’s a pop track at its core, in the style of Pale Waves and Wolf Alice in the way it makes outsider music accessible, and yet the very opposite of what currently dominates the charts.
