New Music: tummyache – Safe Word

The release of Safe Word sees UK-based alt.rock outfit tummyache gearing up for a European tour and the release of their Egosystem album in the coming months. The accompanying video is a series of vignettes from their recent under the radar tour – well worth a watch.

Safe Word will feature on Egosystem, the band’s sophomore album, which is set for release on the 10^th of May. It’s going to one to watch, as Safe Word is a delicious and delirious mix of grunge, alt.rock, and riot grrrl influences that fans of Fräulein, Joyeria, and Heartworms will love for its directness and raw energy.

You can download Safe Word and more music from tummyache over on Bandcamp. They have some cool merch there too! The song is also streaming everywhere including Deezer, Apple Music, and Spotify.

This April sees tummyache support Lauren Ruth Ward on a series of live dates in Denmark, Germany, and the UK with visits to Copenhagen, Hamburg, London, and Manchester among gigs already announced.
