New Music: Miss FD – Moments of Love

Moments of Love sees Florida gothpop princess Miss FD get sensual on a track that hits some classic and modern notes.

The opening track on her Euphoria EP, it builds its sexual tension around a hard, old-school EBM beat while refusing to dwell in the past musically or lyrically. As Miss FD sings of “a thousand moments of love in sight,” she lightens the cold steel of the percussion with electro-futurepop synths and a melody that has a distinct American West Coast Italo feel to it.

If you’re a fan of Riki and Geneva Jacuzzi and like the spectral shimmering darkness of Cold Cave, Moments of Love and Euphoria are most definitely for you.
