New Music: Domestic Partners – All I See Are Dead Fish

Published On: April 28th, 2026|

From an acid jazz intro to a Stockhausen-like noise fusion, Domestic Partners are far from conventional on their new single.

All I See Are Dead Fish is the band’s second single, and is melodic within its self-defined universe, one that is inhabited by the likes of Cud, Stump, and Cardiacs – and what better bands to accompany you on your musical travels.

Filtering that through a production that accommodates garage rock mania and a piano, this is not your normal fare. There’s no doubting the skill of the performances, but what really impresses is how they funnel that diversity and dynamism into a sound that challenges expectations without excluding the uninitiated. Its livewire attitude will certainly appeal to fans of psych and garage, not fitting within either – a curios and captivating behemoth of a song.

Domestic Partners have gigs lined up at Rough Trade Liverpool and The Elephant’s Head in London in the coming weeks. Hit up the band’s Instagram feed for news on those gigs and upcoming releases.
