Berlin’s Cosmic Anxiety officially debut have debuted in impressive style with the downtempo alt-pop of The Crack in my Heart.

Blessed with vocals that are driven by an air of desolation and loss, the song could be easily perceived as being close to self-destruction, the arrangement funereal and the lyrics aching with the fruit of heartbreak.

A strength in the track is how the imagery in the lyrics imbue everyday actions with a ritualistic import, and the vocals are so full of pain you expect them to falter at any moment.
