New Music: Drama Dolls – Sometimes You Gotta Be a Bitch

Don’t let the campy homage to 80s rich-folks soaps fool you, Sometimes You Gotta Be a Bitch by Drama Dolls is rock n roll and its most raw and raunchy.

Think The Runaways, Hole, and The Distillers at their most unapologetic and fiery, add a whole lot of hair and attitude; and you get a potent mix of messy, feminist fun. And the latter can be said for the video as well!

Says the trio about the track, which features on their Hey Listen album, “It’s an expression of female power in times of adversity. And, well, sometimes you just have to be a bitch.”

Sometimes You Gotta Be a Bitch and the Hey Listen album are available to stream on all major digital outlets including Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer.

The CD edition of Hey Listen can be found on the band’s website. Check out the band’s TikTok and Instagram channels more info on that and the upcoming gig in Joshua Tree, California.
