Dead Ends sees Irish singer-songwriter Holly Munro reflect on a meditative experience that led to an inspirational moment of personal revelation. The official video for the track sees her revisit the windswept beachside location that played a such pivotal role in her life and the song.

The track feels deeply spiritual, echoes of Irish and European folk making their presence known in the rock nuances of the arrangement. Munro’s vocals steal the show however, blending a stillness in sound with a burning passion that is energising and very moving.

Speaking about Dead Ends, Munro reveals, “I wrote this song after finishing a meditation that involved seeing my footprints in the sand from above. It got me thinking about my life as one big journey with all these powerful detours along the way – some paths you start on but never continue, just as some parts of yourself remain unexplored.”

“It’s about questioning the choices you make and reflecting on how they shape your future in ways you can’t always predict or control.”

Dead Ends is available to download on Bandcamp and stream on Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Spotify. Munro has a series of gigs lined up in the coming months, including a headline slot at Workmans Cellar in Dublin on the 8th of June.
