New Music: Ida Mae – Road To Avalon

Ida Mae is Christopher and Stephanie Jean Turpin, a duo whose British roots belies their understanding of Americana and modern country. Watch the video for Road To Avalon from the upcoming Click Click Domino LP to get a flavour of their sound.

They bring some classic rock guitar licks as the song concludes, but along the way, the duo treats the listener to an eclectic but cohesive take on rock, indie, and country. It’s a far cry from the glossy sounds dominating the American country charts, instead veering more towards the modern take on outlaw country, adding raw, vibrant quality to Road To Avalon.

Road To Avalon by Ida Mae is out now to stream, along with more music from the band, over on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music. Hit up their Facebook and Instagram socials or Patreon page for further listening options and news about how to order Click Click Domino.
