Janosch Moldau has a knack for creating retro-infused sad-pop sounds and new track We Behaved Wrong shows he retains that touch. Check out the witty and winning official video for the track below.

The poignancy of the vocals and the sense of longing at the heart of the track strikes the sonic notes and moods as classic sounds such as early Alphaville and Depeche Mode at times. Dark yet melodic, it pierces the heart.

But the song is also a low-key anthem with a subtle positivity underpinning the lyrics – a quality they share with Frozen Plasma, De/Vision, and Culture Kultür. Here though, there is also a pleasing, decidedly rock-oriented flourish in the arrangement at times.
