With the release of their album fast approaching, American-German outfit Loveblind has followed up recent single War Planets, with the equally impressive Daydream. Have a listen and see what you think?

Though utilising a similar musical palette to their previous single, here the band does something very different with it. Shoegaze influences break through to a greater degree, mainly in the guitar and melody, with the synths less to the fore – but still present. The drums retain their muscular sound, and as for Dorian Electrique’s voice? It’s both intimate and masterful, as it coaxes and then commands the listener to follow in her wake. Play War Planets and Daydream together, and you’ll know it’s the same band, with the differences between them displaying their knack to pull disparate influences into a coherent, complex sound.

Loveblind’s Daydream will feature on Sleeping Visions, which is due for release on the 27th of March via Saint Marie Records. The album can be pre-ordered on vinyl,  as well as CD and digital versions on the label’s Bandcamp page. You can catch up with Loveblind over on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
