New Music: Miss FD – Keep Going

Published On: February 2nd, 2020|

Florida-based Miss FD has a sound that could nomically be called electropop, but it incorporates elements of the Gothic rock, Darkwave, and Electro-Industrial genres, as you can hear on Keep Going.

The Fort Lauderdale musician goes for an effective, low-key approach to get her upbeat message across to the listener. Relying on her emotive vocal presence and the powerful chorus to impart her message, the stripped-down melody and arrangement successfully rely on mood rather than tempo to keep you enthralled.

“I felt I needed to create a song that would empower listeners, a motivational song to start 2020 on the right track”, says Miss FD about the tune. “I constructed the sonic framework for Keep Going with a minimalistic electronic vibe to maintain focus on the positive message.”
