Long-standing members of the Rotterdam noise and shoegaze scene, the quartet that makes up Neighbours Burning Neighbours only formed the group in 2018. The powerful and primal track Hesitate will make you with they’d done it earlier.

The track firmly places itself in the darker, more cerebral end of post-punk. Think Siouxie Sioux in full flight over a thunderous, tight onslaught of tribal percussion and angular guitars, more No Wave than New Wave, that’s Hesitate. There’s a real primitive beauty in the sometimes-uncontrolled anger and passion on display here, and you’d be a fool to let it pass you by.

The track is a great advert for the band’s live show too, which you can get to see in the upcoming weeks in Poland, Austria, the Netherlands and Germany – for dates and venues check out their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
