New Music: Snoozer – Love’s Permission

You need to have a lot of confidence in your music to release your new album on Friday the 13th, but judging by Love’s Permission, Snoozer can be sure of its success.

The first track to drop from Mid-Earth, Love’s Permission, is laced with a wry, wary, and occasionally frenetic loud-quiet-loud energy that makes it comparable to Pixies and Throwing Muses at their best. The song sometimes skews into a dissonant take on shoegaze, but never without seeking to take the listener along with it.

Mid-Earth is out this September via Born Losers and is now up for pre-order in vinyl and digital formats on Bandcamp
