New Music: Sock Drawer – Make Your Mind Up

Make Your Mind Up sees mysterious masked duo Sock Drawer match a sensual electro/funk flavoured number to a hilarious video. Watch the reactions of the robot heads for some extra laughs.

The Brighton-based duo hit the sexual tension – and the sax – hard on a track bless with restrained vocals that radiate lust and a hint of frustration. Make Your Mind Up is a bit indie and a bit rock and roll, with more than a bit of 80s Prince. You’ll be a winner if you add this song to your date night playlists – if Tinder (or Grindr) made music, it would probably sound a lot like this.

Says the band about the video, “When Thomas Siriani, director and long-time Sock Drawer collaborator unexpectedly takes a holiday, the launch of the band’s upcoming single Make Your Mind Up is put in jeopardy. Thomas must write, star, direct, and edit the music video, if his friends are to have any chance of success.”

“In a heroic act, Thomas performs the role he was destined for… FAVIO, the enigmatic sailor/lord/artist/Renaissance hunk who entices the hearts and loins of all. Opposite him, the world-renowned Drag King, Clit Eastwood, plays the unassuming Simp with a secret, delivering their most compelling and horniest performance to date.”

Make Your Mind Up and previous Sock Drawer single Serious Tune are streaming on all digital outlets including Apple Music, Soundcloud, and Spotify. Check out the duo’s Instagram account to learn more about the band.
