We often associate SOFI TUKKER with their amazing track record at knocking out one club banger after another in recent years. Original Sin shows a different side to their sound, though one with a central concept that’ll be familiar to the duo’s fans.

The more relaxed rhythms and beats of Original Sin allow their vocals and songwriting skills to shine through like never before. With nu-disco, funk, and Latin vibes taking a gentle hold of the arrangement and sound of the song, Original Sin casts aside preconceptions and genre constraints to create a sound that is thoughtful, comforting, and ultimately life-affirming.

Says the duo about the song, “Original Sin is the perfect way to introduce the world of WET TENNIS and it’s very emblematic of ‘the freak fam,’ our community. It says: we aren’t meant to be saints. We aren’t born sinners. We’re just a bunch of freaks who make mistakes and keep trying to do our best.”

The expand on the name of the upcoming album, “WET TENNIS is an acronym that stands for: ‘when everyone tries to evolve, nothing negative is safe’ and that’s what this song is all about. We live in a troubled world, it’s not our fault if we have trouble sometimes. That’s part of what makes us human. But when we evolve together and celebrate instead of judge each other, we can move through negativity into a more optimistic way of life.”
