New York based Soft Faith is Aaron Thompson of Empty Streets and Kenneth Fletcher of The Neuromantic Boys. Their latest single In The Dark is darkly-hued synthpop with real meaning and a strong message.

Thomspon really sells the lyrics, as he sings of the importance of finding someone to love and to love yourself, his performance full of unbridled emotion.

Pairing that with an arrangement that looks to the intelligent pop of Depeche Mode and CHVRCHES for inspiration, the mature tones of the also song remind me of Color Theory, sharp as tacks where needed while also being wistful and reflective.
