New Music: Tuvaband – Growing Pains

Tuva Hellum Marschhäuser is the artist behind Tuvaband, who you might remember for their appearance on My Killer, a song we featured a while ago. They’re back with a solo effort, Growing Pains, which sees them preparing to follow up 2019’s I Entered the Void LP.

Growing Pains, which will feature on their new album Growing Pains & Pleasures, sees the artist play about with the traditional pop song narrative, putting the standard parts together in a primordial, haunting manner. The vocals hint at something knowing and cosmic, floating above the arrangement, which frames rolling percussion and a lush, yet yearning and incredibly appealing melody.

Growing Pains is out now, and you can find streaming details here. Head over to Tuvaband’s Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook for news on the single and the Growing Pains & Pleasures album, while you can hear more of their music on Soundcloud, YouTube Music, Spotify, and Apple Music.
