New Music: Emma Miller – Leaving

Singer/songwriter Emma Miller is originally from the north east of Scotland but is currently living in London and attending the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. Leaving is her second single, following on from her critically acclaimed debut track  Burning Out  which was released back in May.

Though similar in tone to her debut, Leaving replaces the organic piano feel of Burning Out which an electronic synth bass but still showcases her rich and versatile voice over a track that effortlessly fuses the folk-rock style of The Staves with the more freeform feel of a young Joni Mitchell.
