New Music: Widdendream – Everlasting

In July last year, we featured Adrift by San Francisco duo Widdendream. Mei-Lee Chen (vocals) and Alex Clark (synthesizers) make a welcome return to the blog with the icy electro of their latest track Everlasting – check it out below.

The song features on their Wave of Silence EP and uses the classic sounds of Goth and darkwave as building blocks. The synths have an icy intensity that’s beautifully balanced by the warmth and presence of Mei-Lee Chen’s imperious vocals, taking the listener on a journey of sound and emotion.

You can catch up with Widdendream on Facebook, while Everlasting can also be streamed on Spotify and Soundcloud. The Wave of Silence EP is available ion vinyl format via the German record label Kernkrach Schallplatten.
