New Music: ASHRR – Otherside

Published On: March 31st, 2021|

We last caught up with California’s ASHRR (Steven Davis, Ethan Allen, and Josh Charles) when we covered their All Yours All Mine single – read about it here. They return to the blog in style with the brooding rock tones of Otherside.

The band is undoubtedly developing their own signature sound, as you can hear on Otherside. Industrial-tinged rock is given a musical do-over, adding lightness and freshness and humanity the genre can lack at times. But there’s a rock/pop sensibility to the song as well, around the catchy chorus and guitar hooks, which, when allied with the emotive vocals, are sure to give the listener a sense of living the lyrics, word by word.

You can catch up with ASHRR via their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram socials. You can listen to the Otherside and more music from the American trio on YouTube Music, Spotify, and Apple Music.
