New Music: Dee Dasher – Dreamscape

The opening track on the new Dee Dasher album, Conscious Home, Dreamscape has some unexpected twists and turns that are cinematic and very thought-provoking.

If a dreamscape were to have a soundtrack, this would most likely be it. Hypnotic trip-hop beats are overlaid with romantic strings and a vocal performance that wouldn’t be amiss on a 70s folk classic. All that works beautifully, complex beneath a serene surface, and every element perfectly balanced, as yet another momentary flourish add another layer of detail to a lush daydream.
