New Music: Fleur bleu·e – All the Little Beings
For Fleur bleu·e members Vlad and Delphine, their new album came at a time of great change, crossing the Atlantic to live in a new country.
Maybe that is expressed in the joy, wonder, and occasional emotional confusion of All the Little Beings, the latest single from Question Marked Upon The World. It follows the sonic themes of previous single Surrender, with what could easily be misconstrued as naïve indie pop instead taking us under the surface of the world we see and hear around us.
The track came about after Vlad wrote a mesmerising guitar loop, triggering a sense of nostalgia for Delphine as the duo prepared to move from Paris to Pennsylvania.

“I was overwhelmed by the feeling of leaving this place and all its spirits,” she reveals. “The trees used to build the wooden floors and furniture, the sand in the concrete walls, the little insects and mice living between them. The song is about feeling a place beyond its physicality, about meeting the spirits and non-human beings that inhabit it.”
Fleur bleu·e release Question Marked Upon The World on the 15th of May via Sunday Records. The duo holds an official launch event in Paris on the 25th of May and also have live dates lined up in Brooklyn and Los Angeles.
