Music can be a means of respite or escape from the pressure of daily life, but women don’t always get that option.

Zosia controls the burning anger and fear that fuel the lyrics of For the Grace, matched by the smouldering electro ballad the song becomes, and directs them towards offering an empathetic and supportive moment of reflection. And that restraint and sense of caring for others is what makes the track work so beautifully, the unadorned message of the lyrics delivered in a calm, vulnerable vocal performance.

[For the Grace] is about being VERY aware of the dangers we face… feeling compelled to learn, prepare, & always be ready to fight for our lives… & it’s about empathizing with those who’ve endured the worst…”
