New Music: AN_NA – So Far

Montreal, Québec based duo AN_NA cite the likes of The KVB and Boy Harsher as musical fellow travellers. New single So Far is something more deliciously dark and primal than either of those bands serve up, however.

With a bassline that sees classic EBM refreshed and re-energised for modern ears and sensibilities, So Far sounds great loud – an amazing feat for such an intimate song. And with a vocal performance that is posed and poised, one that seems to be hinting at deep pain behind a calm surface, the whole track is captivating, chilling, and thrilling in turn.
