New Music: Blue Tomorrows – Santa Cruz (Memory Blues)

With their Weather Forever LP set for release in a few days, Wisconsin-based Blue Tomorrows have shared a video for featured song, Santa Cruz (Memory Blues).

The musical vehicle for musician Sarah Nienaber of Shady Cove, Blue Tomorrows find a fluid pathway between dream pop and indietronica here, as the track whispers memories into your ear. Nature plays a large part in the lyrics, metaphors for emotions and relationships, making me think of the quietly-stated personal revelations of artists like Sally Dige, Beach House, and Spaceman 3.
