New Music: Club 8 – Sneaky Feelings

I look forward to the monthly installment of indie goodness from Club 8, especially when they capture the time of year perfectly.

Sneaky Feelings is indie pop with a Sixties beat, a tale of love possibly gone wrong soundtracked by a warm but sparse arrangement. The vocals of Karolina Komstedt and Johan Angergård have a hint of melancholy about them, and the jangly guitar is full of summery hope that goes against the grain of the lyrics. This is the perfect music for long summer afternoons spent doing as little as possible.
