New Music: DRIFT – At the Party

French producer DRIFT has assembled an iconic cast of vocalists and musicians for his At the Party LP, something that shines through on the title track.

Featuring (takes deep breath) Connan Mockasin, Benny Sings, Feist, Philippe Katerine, and infinite bisous, At the Party is a deft, early morning take on French disco, one where the vocals are given room to breathe, and the funked-up arrangement is sweet and romantic rather than frenetic. Wonderful stuff indeed, and there’s a whole album of precious musical gems like this.

At the Party, which was co-produced with DRIFT’s long-time collaborator Chilly Gonzales, is out now to stream on SoundCloud, Apple Music, and Spotify – check out his Instagram for other listening options.
