New Music: GG Fearn – Parasite

Parasite finds Welsh singer-songwriter GG Fearn examining the allure of dependence in a number that packs a hefty dark pop punch.

With lyrics that are witty and at times savage, Fearn invites comparison with MARINA and Lily Allen, as the song builds to become both very personal and at times anthemic. The folkish flourishes in the vocals, and the 90s pop loops that lighten the tone show Fearn has a creative edge that plays with the listener’s preconceptions and expectations.

Parasite and more music from GG Fearn can be heard on Spotify and Apple Music – for other listening options, head to the artist’s Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram socials.
