New Music: LIZ x SOPHIE – SUNSCREEN

There are few songs that have been faked, bootlegged or somehow covered over the years like SUNSCREEN, but it finally gets an official release in 2025.

Recorded in 2018, this hyperpop classic has done the rounds on YouTube and SoundCloud, but now, we get to hear the track as it was no doubt intended.

Today, it’s a banger of a pop tune, with that wonderful SOPHIE production and slinky summer vocals bringing a hint of dayglo innocence to the lyrics.

It also shows us how the music of LIZ, SOPHIE, and A. G. Cook shaped much of what we hear today, as so many artists from Lady Gaga’s current output to BLACKPINK owe them so much.
