New Music: Neurotypes – Deeper

I can’t tell you a lot about Ottawa’s mysterious Neurotypes other that it’s the musical project of Nathan Resi. Oh, and that new single Deeper is a real post-punk banger, as you can hear below.

Fresh and melodic and full of energy, Deeper riffs on 80s alternative music and the more upbeat elements of dreampop and post-punk. Passionate vocals bring a hint of danger to the overall smooth yet dark feel of the song, effectively creating a sound that will appeal to fans of Drab Majesty, DIIV, and Traitrs.

Deeper will feature on Neurotype’s upcoming Spirit Photography EP. If you liked what you heard and want to listen to more music from Neurotype, head over to Spotify and Apple Music.
