New Music: Le Light – There You Are

Published On: June 5th, 2024|

There You Are by London-based Le Light is mainly about having fun. Even though the lyrics may occasionally explore darker themes, the overall sense is on of enjoying life and love during all it ups and downs.

The band wears its influences lightly on There You Are. You can hear shades of Starship and 80s pop in there, but also the arch 70s stylings of Sparks and at times, a sharp emotional elegance comparable to Walt Disco at their best. You can just imagine the song being the soundtrack to an 80s montage scene, it’s that powerful and empowering.

There You Are and more music from Le Light can be downloaded on Bandcamp and streamed everywhere, including Soundcloud, Apple Music, and Spotify. Catch up with the band on Instagram to get to know them and their music better.
