New Music: night moth– Horse
Short and sweetly perceptive, Horse will feature on the self-titled album from Boston-based night moth.
With lyrics that create images from the majestic to the macabre – a horse in the fields of Montana or a knife between the ribs – Horse has a primal essence to them. The Pixies-like starkness and angular nature of the arrangement allow night moth to trigger feelings with sound, giving words heightened feelings and taking the listener through a carnival of vivid word pictures encompassing freedom, fear and emotions in between.
That is a lot to pack in to a run time of under ninety seconds, but what really impresses on Horse is how unhurried and expansive the track becomes, inhabiting a world of its own, one it invites you to share without fear.

Night Moth can be pre-ordered in digital and cassette formats on Bandcamp. The album is set for release on the 13th of March via Worry Bead Records – for pre-save options and news of the album launch party on the 26th of March, make your way to Instagram.
