German-Finnish dreampop/electro Duo PLATRONIC (singer/songwriter Kay Burden and composer/producer Some-E are sure to slay the dark scene crowd with new single Control. Have a listen to it on Bandcamp below.

Taking elements of dark electro, futurepop, and EBM, the track balances light and dark tones with a pulsating bass line to dish out a tune that gives the gothic electro crowd another potential club anthem.

Full of energy but also serving as a warning to the hidden dangers of social media under a seemingly positive chorus, it’ll appeal to those who like the musical and lyrical sounds of acts such as VNV Nation, Apoptygma Bezerk, and Rotersand.

They say about the inspiration behind the song, “Control is a reminder, a hint. It’s about social media and how it affects our daily lives. How transparent and vulnerable we are. Regardless of all the benefits – like being able to connect with other musicians and people around the world (no Platronic without Instagram) – there’s also a downside…”
