New Music: William Bleak – Ghost Waltz
Berlin-based William Bleak finds inspiration for that city’s famous, if not notorious, club scene on his latest track, Ghost Waltz.
High-octane EBM with a techno aesthetic, Ghost Waltz is the track you find yourself dancing to as the sun rises on a Monday morning, your weekend continuing as others get ready for work. Blessed with an analogue-style sound and a punishing bass line, it is far from crisp and clean. Instead, it encapsulates that moment when all that exists is the dance floor, the beat, and the bodies around you, the rapture of the dance completely consuming you.
He says of the song, which is out now via Breathing Records, “[Ghost Waltz] is a “digital demolition of the senses… a single that is for losing yourself in the moment – and staying lost.”
