New Music: Yann Sella – Turning Circles (feat. MANCHESTER RAIN)

Hailing from Lyon, French producer Yann Sella has produced a moody and majestic four minutes of ambient pop with Turning Circles – a track that sees him team up with Manchester Rain.

The track which is out now via Manchester label Subdust Music, broods and pulsates in equal measure, as the chilled arpeggios duel with the more ethereal vocals, subtle piano and bassline that ebbs and flows like gentle waves hitting the shoreline in winter.

It has a real sense of beauty, of being centred and self-contained, but sure enough in itself to let the listener in on its otherworldly perfection, providing an oasis of calm and reflection with every note and every beat.
