About the tracks
This selection of tracks represents a nice cross-section of artists that have inspired me with their various creative audio aspects for VATSWAV. Be it the atmosphere and general feeling I get from hearing Dawan by Apparat or BoC ‘s Oscar see through red eye, the sound design in Golgotha by DJMREX or Paradigm Shift by Ian Boddy/Nigel Mullaney or simply the arrangement chaos that Aphex Twin does so well. But with each of these artists, it is their exploration of sound that led me to my own exploration and experimentation in music.
