About the tracks
This mixtape is our night hag: in choosing, deleting, arranging, choosing, and arranging again the tracks contained herein, we’ve experienced sleep paralysis and night terrors akin to some incubi residing on our collective chests. It has literally been a nightmare.
Listening to this mixtape end to end is to get us – if that’s possible given we don’t really ‘get’ us. Each band member had six individual choices (if you know us, it won’t be hard to guess who chose what) and then we added three tracks as a band to tie it together in a phantasmic fashion.
So, expect bleeps, cinematics, electronics, fuzz, motoriking, progness, and a few tracks where we surprised (even scared) each other as they were offered up for inclusion.
It sums our influences. The result is a chimera of gigantic monstrous proportions.
To be listened to in the dark on headphones, with eyes shut, and a wry smile upon your delightful visage. Enjoy!
