New Music: The Ultraverse – Home Pt. II

Earlier this year we featured Silent Call by Dutch band The Ultraverse and the Amsterdam based trio compromising of  Huub van Loon, Pim Mulders and Jos van Loon are back with another piece of chilled electronica in the form of Home pt. II.

The song follows a similar musical path to its predecessor, but for me it brings the atmospheric pop element of their sound to the fore. There’s still soothing male vocals to draw you in and Home pt. II. has a bassline to die for,;all amplified by the guitar work gives it a dreamlike feel. I guess you could call it indietronica but that feels like it’s selling the track short.
