New Music: Death Row Husband – Shower

Death Row Husband has a decidedly lo fi and low profile to music, but that’s doesn’t mean that the underlying quality doesn’t shine through – listen to Shower to see what we mean. You can check out the video here.

We’ve already described it as ‘an urban Joy Division jamming with Philip Glass’ it’s dark tones and mournful and tribal vocals are interwoven with hypnotic melodies and glitchy, almost Industrial soundscapes.

The smooth if unsettling ambiance is broken on these occasions, imprinting on the listener an almost Dali-esque sense of a subtly distorted reality.
