New Music: Magdalena Bay – Mine

Regular visitors to the blog, LA’s Magdalena Bay (Mica Tenenbaum on song writing and vocal duties and Matthew Lewin on song writing, vocals, production) are back with a Big Bang courtesy of the cosmic electro of Mine.

Tenenbaum’s vocals are on top form, soft at times but with a firm, fun and inviting presence to them. Lush, woozy synths and a melody that marries girl-group with assertive percussion and a ‘quiet anthem’ melody, serve to take the listener or an off-kilter trip through the vagaries of love.

Mine is out now you can get news about the album and forthcoming live appearances, on the duo’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts.
