With their Ashes album due to drop this April (you can pre-order it on Bandcamp), Douglas – the musical project of Amy Douglas White – has unveiled a highly emotive video for featured song Clouds. Watch it below.

A piercing, highly emotive sense of clarity threads its way through the song, courtesy of Douglas’ singular voice. Calm, centred, and ethereal, it’s a beacon of serenity, surrounded by the dark, swirling sounds of a darkwave and Scandi-electro inspired storm of an arrangement. It seems to pass in an instant yet leaves an unquantifiable, unspoken presence behind it.
