New Music: DYLYN – Just A Boy

Published On: October 31st, 2022|

DYLYN’s The Sixty90’s album was released last week, and a standout track in a strong collection of thirteen songs is the moody 70s flavoured rock of Just A Boy.

Though the album primarily focuses on a combination of 60s and 90s influences, Just A Boy brings hints of downbeat glam to the proceedings. Think Bowie or Bolan but mixed in with a bit of Suede and Spector, rounded off by the smoky, sincere tones of DYLYN’s country-leaning vocal. Add in some heart-rending lyrics, and you’re left with a song that is both emotionally resonant and hauntingly beautiful.
