New Music: dethcaps – Nightstand

Bay Area trio dethcaps debut in style with the bittersweet indie-pop sounds of Nightstand. Don’t let the dreamy guitars and light vocals fool you! There’s grit and darkness going on here, with driving percussion and a growing grunge influence as the protagonist ponders on where their relationship is going.

Says the trio, who met at a tattoo shop on Friday the 13th and quickly became friends, about Nightstand, “It’s about being so infatuated with someone that you’re willing to do anything to make it work.” If you like The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Strokes, and Nirvana then you will love this song.”

Nightstand can be downloaded on Bandcamp and is also streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music.

It’s going to be worth your while keeping an eye on dethcaps in the coming months, so be sure to follow the trio on TikTok and Instagram.
