New Music: NINA x Radio Wolf – Don’t Trust The Night

Siren of synthwave NINA has teamed up once again with Canadian producer/musician Radio Wolf on another belter of a tune. The latest collaboration comes on the back of May’s Tokyo Cowboy team-up. The neon gothic electronica of Don’t Trust The Night will feature on their joint album, Jukebox Dream.

NINA’s vocals are on point as ever, smoky and wistful, with more than a hint of the regret and desire that flows through the lyrics. The polished electronic and rock fusion of the arrangement channels the late-night sounds of Chromatics and Cannons, with a reverberating basslinw and mournful melody powering up the track’s emotionally charged ambience. Wonderful stuff from start to finish.

Jukebox Dream is set for release later this year, while NINA and Radio Wolf are set to play European and UK dates this summer. You can hear Don’t Trust The Night on all streaming platforms including Spotify, and the song is available to download on Bandcamp.
